We all hide behind masks sometimes to protect ourselves. But when we try to be happy day after day, eventually the mask will crack, revealing the sadness and struggle underneath. The roses are dissolving away revealing the crumbling body underneath. Arrows are sticking out of the figure's back showing the pain they've been trying to hide.
