I'm nonbinary, and I identify as trans.  This year has been hard to watch the rights of multiple groups, not just the LGBTQIA+ community has been stripped away in the US.  There has been growing hatred and animosity directed at our community.

I drew this butterfly, with its wings being shredded, in a dark room with the hint of bars in the background.  The butterfly is the brightest pop of color in the work.  Once the butterfly is gone, the only thing left will be a dark, grayish room.  Without diversity, humanity would be dull.  Diversity makes us stronger, and makes the world exciting.

Drawn in 2025.

This is the original work of art, and is set up to be printed on a 20x16 canvas.  As a digital artist working in a digital medium, sizes can be fluid until it is printed.

Smaller sizes are available as art prints at a discounted rate.
